We are on a mission to inspire the next generation to think bigger. Orbit is the UK's largest accelerator programme for 16-19 year old Orbiteers. In 2019, we're aiming to support 1000 Orbiteers per month to launch businesses and secure jobs. Our 12-month accelerator programme was built with the help of the UK's leading business figures. Orbiteers receive 12 months of workshops, mentoring, online courses, and access to billionaire entrepreneurs and industry leaders. With this support, Orbit has supported over 300 Orbiteers to launch businesses and secure jobs in the industries of tomorrow. We are a Social Enterprise, and receive no government funding for our work. Our sponsorship model sees each Orbiteer secure two sponsors for their space on the programme. Sponsors pay £13.99 per month for a period of 36-months, keeping the programme accessible to Orbiteers from all walks of life. Sponsors include family members and local businesses. For their sponsorship contribution, Orbit provides a package of benefits including access to our VIP Life-Story events, photographs with our VIP visitors, and monthly progress report on the development of their Orbiteer.
