The Kenan-Flagler Private Equity Fund manages over $10 million in assets. Since inception, the KFBSF Private Equity Fund has invested in 61 portfolio companies across four funds, exited 31 portfolio companies, and executed 5 dividend recapitalizations. The Fund co-invests with partner private investment firms. We are industry agnostic, and our investments encompass a range of traditional buyout, growth equity, venture, and mezzanine investment styles. Founded in 2007, the UNC Kenan-Flagler Private Equity fund was the first student-run private equity fund. The Fund's mission is to invest outside capital in an educational setting to deliver real returns for investors. The Fund currently oversees more than twenty investments across three active funds. The management team consists of MBA and Undergraduate students in the University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School program.
