All too often, the best of these endeavors - what we have taken to calling HomeGrown™ businesses - are not adequately served by modern capital markets, which tend to focus on the "hyper growth" story attractive to venture capitalists and hedge funds. With our goal to catalyze a much broader set of businesses, we tailor innovative investment structures to create growth-oriented equity and debt opportunities for our partners and our portfolio companies. While we continue to expand upon our roots in Montana, we are also working to share the HomeStake “playbook” with like-minded communities throughout the country that want to build supportive ecosystems for their own HomeGrown businesses.
