The goal of Homeless for One Week is to raise money for an organization that does work for the homeless and to raise awareness about the reality of being on the streets, working to change the stigma by documenting ones experience and getting testimonials from the homeless themselves. Over four consecutive years, the project as raised over 10,000 dollars for organization like New York Care and the Coalition for the Homeless.
