Our Background Rallye Trust is a family-owned investment company, founded by Stephen Wright. Stephen was a founding partner of STAR Capital (www.star-capital.com) and was responsible for a range of successful investments. We are an independent investor. Our Approach Rallye is a family-owned investor aiming to create value through investments in private companies with a good track record and growth potential. We are a long-term shareholder with no predefined investment horizon. We actively foster entrepreneurship in its companies. We do not get directly involved in day-to-day management but we assist management in identifying strategic opportunities and in making strategic and/or organisational choices. Investment Focus • Medium-sized companies (or carve-outs) with an EBITDA up to €50 million and a proven track record (no venture capital or early stage). • Businesses with strategic qualities that provide downside protection and the opportunity to create value. These qualities typically include one or more of the following: a strong market position, high barriers to entry, medium/long-term contracts, a valuable asset base. • Key sectors are healthcare, telecoms and transportation – but we look for deals in all parts of the value chain. • We are looking for entrepreneurs/management who want to be shareholders alongside us. • We want a majority stake in a business – or minority of sufficient size that allows us to be an active partner. • We often bring in other investors alongside us – and we are willing to work with existing investors in a business
