We are Illinois' only licensed and insured, federally recognized 501(c)3 not-for-profit reptile rescue! Our hearts and doors have been open since 2011 to the people of the Midwest as well as the rest of the country. We are proud to serve our communities as a foster based organization that focuses on the care of the animal. We have no employees, just an epic volunteer board that come from all walks of life including education, special needs services, and veterinary medicine. Our mission has allowed our animals to find homes in the Shedd Aquarium, Wildlife Discovery Center, and other nature centers and smaller zoological facilities including reptile educator shows across the country!
