The Friends of the Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo (JMZ), is a non-profit fundraising organization, which strives to support and enhance the JMZ, whose mission is to engage a child's curiosity in science and nature. The Friends fund capital projects, new exhibits, and science education classes for underserved populations. The Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo's mission is to engage a child’s curiosity in science and nature through hand-on activities and encounters with live animals.
