The SG Flensburg-Handewitt is a german handball club from northern Germany, based in Flensburg. The club takes part in the german DKB Handball-Bundesliga and VELUX EHF Champions-League. The club was founded in 1990 by the local Clubs TSB Flensburg and Handewitter SV. The team has been playing in the highest german league competition since 1992 and has been taking part in the european handball club competition since 1994. The SG Flensburg-Handewitt is a club which values young and talented handball players and is characterized by focussing on scandinavian players.
