About us: Brighton and Hove Energy Services Co-operative (BHESCo) is a not-for-profit social enterprise helping homes and businesses meet the financial and environmental cost of the energy they use with clean, affordable community owned energy. Based in Brighton and Hove, we have delivered successful projects throughout Sussex and our reach is growing. We have the expertise to scale our offer throughout England, and have been identified by Ofgem as an archetype of a local energy service. How do we do this? We work with you to understand your needs, then recommend the most effective solutions for your property and oversee the installation at no upfront cost. We survey the property and create a report detailing all the ways you are wasting energy and how you can fix it quickly. We’ll prepare an energy plan and project manage the installation of the measures you choose. We make our service available at zero upfront cost, and repayments are made using our Pay As You Save model. This means that you will start to see savings immediately and a portion of the savings you make from your energy bill repays the cost of the installation. Once repaid, you will get the full benefit of your savings.
