Founded in 1982 Sims have been running for over 40 years and have built thousands of machines, fixtures and robotic solutions for many different industries. Sims are well known in the automotive industry for specialising ultrasonic welding of various plastic components and for having a quick response site team for any breakdowns, commissioning and modifications. AUTOMATED SOLUTIONS ULTRASONIC WELDING Machines and fixtures designed and built to ultrasonically weld various child parts to the customers main component. PUNCH MACHINES Punch machines are another common product we design and manufacture. Often combined with ultrasonic welding to save time, floor space and overall costs. These punch machines are used to punch various holes in the customers plastic components with great accuracy and repeatability. HOT PLATE WELDING Hot plate welders are commonly used for welding plastic components together, usually for liquid holding chambers, but it's not uncommon to see these welders used to weld other specialist components such as instrument bezels.
