Blackburn with Darwen Clinical Commissioning Group The CCG was formally established in 2013 and is ideally situated at the edge of the Ribble Valley, in modern premises (junction 5 of the M65), with accessible transport links to Manchester and Preston . We are run by local GPs in 25 practices across the borough and we are responsible for planning, organising and buying a range of healthcare services for people that live in Blackburn with Darwen. At Blackburn with Darwen CCG we have an ambitious programme to deliver the highest quality healthcare for local people. Our plans aim to deliver effective, efficient, high quality, safe integrated care to improve the health and wellbeing of the local population to help people live better for longer, reducing health inequalities and improving health outcomes in the borough.
