U.P.V. Alcmaeon is de studievereniging Psychologie aan de Universiteit Utrecht, zowel bachelor als master. Alcmaeon is opgericht op 6 Juni 1990 te Utrecht als Psychologievereniging. Drie jaar later, in 1993, is zij op aandringen van de Universiteit Faculteitsvereniging geworden. Op 6 juni 2017 heeft zij weer een transitie bevonden en is zij opnieuw Psychologievereniging geworden. Alcmaeon telt ruim 2000 leden en 23 commissies welke gecoördineerd worden door 6 bestuursleden. Deze 23 commissies organiseren wekelijks activiteiten van een congres tot een studiereis en van een sollicitatietraining tot een feest zodat studenten op zowel studie-inhoudelijk als op ontspannend vlak het optimale uit hun studententijd kunnen halen. U.P.V. Alcmaeon is the Psychology association for students at Utrecht University, both bachelor and master. Alcmaeon is founded the 6th of June 1990 in Utrecht as a Psychology association. Three years later, in 1993, it became a faculty wide association in request of the university. On the 6th of June she went through another transition and became a Psychology Association again. Alcmaeon has over 2000 members and has 23 committees which are coordinated by 6 board members. These 23 committees organize weekly activities which vary from a congresses and study trips to workshops on how to apply for jobs and parties. With all these activities and events Alcmaeon makes sure students will make the most of their years as students.
