ABO Wind Ireland was founded in 2008 in order to develop onshore wind energy projects in Ireland, where the wind blows evenly and strongly. It’s a subsidiary of the German ABO Wind AG. The planning team in our Dublin office works closely with local authorities, land owners, and other local partners, while at the same time benefitting from the experience of the highly skilled staff at the ABO Wind AG offices. Between the head office in Germany and the Dublin office in-house departments take care of all aspects of project development: technical planning and site assessment, construction, electrical work, project financing, as well as technical and commercial operations management. ABO Wind AG was established in 1996 and has connected more than 650 wind turbines with a total generating capacity of about 1,400 megawatts across a number of European countries.
