The Institute for Computation in Engineering is conducting research to systematically generalize planning, computing and simulation processes from the field of civil engineering on the basis of innovative information and communication technology. Main topics include the control of complex model interactions, the development of emergent and adaptive software concepts, holistiic planning and simulation systems as well as the formalization of expert knowledge and experience.
