At ArcDepict we transcend the gap between perception and reality – we transform 2D architectural drawings into photorealistic 3D images to give you a sense of the space, form, colour and scale of your design. Architects have a very unique skill to design buildings that are functional, safe, sustainable and aesthetically pleasing – but the true value of these designs are often lost as we have limited capacity to translate flat designs into a sense of reality, before the actual building is constructed. To achieve this, ArcDepict produces external and interior static renders, but can also do a 3D fly-overs (walk-through) render to enhance the visualization. All of this done in South Africa, with high level of quality, efficiently and at an affordable cost. Heading up ArcDepict is Ian van der Westhuizen. Ian West, as he is known in the fashion industry, faced exactly the same challenges in the design of garments and has successfully exchanged his love of haute couture for his passion for architecture. With a keen eye for detail, scale and proportion he is now pursuing the art of architectural visualization by assisting architects, property developers and home owners visualizing the structure, even before they start construction.
