At GGRF we believe in cultivating an environment where girls feel encouraged and supported to make a positive contribution in the world. We provide our participants with leadership training, scholarships and exposure to exceptional female role models. MISSION Our mission is to harness the power of leadership to ignite inspiration among young women and girls. Through our programs we are inspiring the next generation of female leaders by encouraging excellence and empowering girls to unlock their untapped potential. PROGAM The Guyanese Girls Rock Young Women Leadership Academy supports the development of young female leaders in the Guyanese community. Through a series of instructor led lessons and workshops, young women and girls are given a unique opportunity to learn from and build trusting relationships with female professionals and mentors. This bi-weekly Saturday program focuses on 3 key areas: building identity, developing self-confidence, and learning leadership skills.
