Nordic Talc Oy is part of the Tulikivi Group. Nordic Talc Oy's goal is the industrial utilization of Tulikivi Corporation's talc reserves belonging to the Suomussalmi mining district. Nordic Talc Oy is preparing a modern and environmentally friendly talc concentrate plant for Europe's largest and most compact talc deposit in Suomussalmi. The Tulikivi Group comprises the Tulikivi Corporation, which is a listed family enterprise, and its subsidiaries. The Tulikivi Group is the world’s largest manufacturer of heat-retaining fireplaces. Tulikivi has three product groups: Fireplaces, Saunas and Interior. Tulikivi and its customers value wellbeing, interior design and the benefits of bioenergy. Tulikivi’s net sales are roughly EUR 30 million, of which exports account for about half. Tulikivi employs some 200 people.
