UCL MODO Fashion Society

www.modofashionsociety.co.uk

MODO is UCL’s leading fashion society, created by fashion enthusiasts to foster on and off-campus creativity. We represent members across London with a particular focus on fashion design, modelling, journalism, and event and PR production. Our committee +1500 members and operates in close collaboration with #ChangePossible, UCL's Eco Tribe committed to driving social and environmental change. Every year, we host two annual fashion shows showcasing UCL’s up-and-coming designer and model talents. All proceeds from the fashion show are donated to charity and independent not-for-profit organizations. This year, we will be holding our first-ever virtual show in December. Our biggest sectors are modelling, designing, and writing for MODO Magazine. Below is a closer breakdown of our activities that take place throughout the academic year. Activities are open to all UCL students, regardless of experience: - Social and networking events in collaboration with the wider MODO/UCL alumni network (incl. Sustainable UCL, UCL Business Society, UCL Not Cool Club, and UCL Economics and Finance Society) - Sewing Workshops - Catwalk Workshops - Modelling Opportunities- internally (in collaboration with the UCL Photography Society) and externally (with the wider MODO/alumni network) Writing and Graphic Design opportunities with MODO Magazine
