Papierdoll is a fashion publishing company started in 2004 by a group of creatives that sought to publish fashion in their way with their own voice. The company began to grow in 2005 with the acquisition of coupon website Thriftychick and photo website Look. Forming associations with sites like SecondCityStyle and many others, Papierdoll founders looked to forge new ground in with independent designers. Papierdoll published its first print issue in 2008 and continues to publish to this day. The core of Papierdoll still exists today and new creatives have joined the team to make it as relevant today as it was back in its inception.
