Fox DIRECT Primary Care is a family practice clinic operating under the Direct Primary Care (DPC) model. We are owned by a family nurse practitioner and provide primary care services for all ages. We charge an affordable monthly fee (less than the average cell phone/cable bill) and provide all the services you would expect from your primary care provider. We offer discounts to families and college students. Our services include management of acute and chronic disease, urgent care visits, procedures such as sutures, skin lesion removal/analysis, testing for strep, mono, flu and UTIs, weight loss assistance and many others. With DPC, you have access to your primary care provider via cell phone and/or email 24/7. Through this model we are able to provide extended appointment times (average = 1 hour), ease and speed of scheduling (typical appointments can be made within 24 to 48 hours if needed), home visits if necessary, phone triage, greatly discounted cash prices on labs and imaging, and a personal relationship with your provider you frequently won't find in traditional primary care. Much of the services we offer are because we limit each provider to <500 patients. The national average is 1200-1500 patients per provider. We also offer annual screenings, including PAP/HPV testing, PSA levels, breast cancer and colon cancer screening, lipid screening and others. While we encourage all of our patients to maintain high deductible, catastrophic health insurance at a minimum, we do not submit claims to insurance. Many of our current patients do carry health insurance, which works well for labs, medications, imaging, surgeries, ER visits and specialist visits.
