Through the years, WP&BC expanded its scope to include those with responsibilities in the health and welfare fields. Today, WP&BC is recognized as the premier educational and professional organization in the western United States for the dynamic field of employee benefits. We now have over 1,500 members located within 10 chapters. Our purpose is to educate, provide information, and foster sound principles of benefit plan governance within the industry. The world of employee benefits is constantly changing. Today, more than ever, you need the tools and resources to effectively manage your responsibilities as a benefits professional. The Portland Chapter offers: -Regular educational seminars that provide continuing education credits through our professional accreditation partners; -Networking and social events to help you stay connected to colleagues; -Periodic discounts on educational offerings from our partners; and -An annual spring conference where you can expand your knowledge, share your ideas, and learn alongside other benefits professionals.
