International Journal of Selection and Assessment (IJSA) is a quarterly scientific journal that publishes original articles related to all aspects of staffing and assessment in organizations. As an international journal, we seek and publish research from all parts of the globe, and we aim to write for both academics in staffing, and practitioners in organizations. The goal of IJSA is to publish empirical studies, review articles, and theoretical expositions which make a substantive and original contribution to knowledge. The topics we cover include: - Talent acquisition practices (job analysis, recruitment, assessment, selection), - Technology in talent acquisition and talent management, - Interviewing, - Candidate experiences / applicant reactions, - Diversity, inclusiveness, bias in decision making, adverse impact, - Psychometric measure development and evaluation, - Work related individual differences (personality, aptitude, adaptability, proactivity, skills), - Work related outcomes (performance, absenteeism, turnover, citizenship behavior, counterproductive behavior), and - Cross-cultural investigations of the areas above We invite submissions from practitioners that represent important contributions to the selection and assessment literature in applied psychology, management, and related fields.
