Refugees Welcome Australia is the Australian chapter of Refugees Welcome International, a social movement that offers a homestay alternative to refugees and people seeking asylum, and is active in 15 countries across Europe, Canada, Australia and Japan, having made over 1,000 placements internationally. In the past 4+ years, over 100 refugees and people seeking asylum were welcomed by Australians across the country. Refugees Welcome Australia is fostering a home-sharing network that promotes cultural diversity, respects human rights and recognises the dignity of each individual seeking asylum.
