I raises awareness of workload balance on all levels with focus on wellbeing and health as well as production and performance. The underlying theoretical construct is based on well established models and assumption from the stress and organization area. background and experience The tool is built on a model original built for the military by the CEO of PWELT. The model has been tested and evaluated on several military deployments in both UN missions in Mali and EU Navfor operation in the bay of Aiden. Aim The first and foremost goal is to provide an effective way to lessen the exponentially rising numbers of stress related health issues in all western societies. In Europe it's estimated that 22% (source: www.eurofound.europa.eu) of workers suffer from stress related problems. That figure is from 2015 and unfortunately the trend has not changed direction. Regardless of numbers for the employee the figure one, is sufficient as a reason to adress work related stress issues. Responsibilities In some countries such as Sweden there are laws that regulated the employers responsibility to actively address and handle work related stress. PWELT will help them cover that responsibility. (AFS 2015:4) Efficiency We aim at providing a cost and time efficient tool for putting work related stress on the agenda.
