OUR MISSION The Children's Health Guild is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization of volunteers dedicated to raising funds for UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland (UBCHO) and George Mark Children's House (GMCH) in San Leandro. Comprised of approximately fifty women from the East Bay region of San Francisco, our members dedicate their time and talents to help these beneficiaries provide the full circle of medical care including emergency care, on-going treatment, transitional and respite care, and palliative care that helps children and their families live life to its fullest during a child’s final days. IMPACT Originally founded as St. Luke’s Junior Auxiliary based in San Francisco, our organization has raised funds for over 40 years to support low-income women and children’s medical care. As our membership migrated from San Francisco to the East Bay over time, our organization was re-launched in 2012 as the Children’s Health Guild (CHG) to provide financial support to both UBCHO and GMCH. To date, CHG has raised $2 million for our two beneficiaries.
