Miss O and Friends is a cross-platform COPPA complaint, CARU certified, verified safe original media and lifestyle brand for tween girls. Our mission has always been help empower and build self-esteem in young girls by giving them a platform to express themselves, ask questions, get advice and have fun. Currently, we do this through our app, series, and website. Developed with a division of Sprint, the Girl2Girl Wall is a free, safe COPPA compliant socialization app geared toward tween and young teen girls. All submissions are screened by real people to ensure there is no identifiable information, bullying, hate language, swear words, and the content is appropriate for the tween girl community. Unlike other social media apps, there are no likes, followers or photos. Instead, the Girl2Girl Wall is a judgment free-zone where girls can get advice from other girls their age for IRL situations. Girls helping girls is really powerful, and by creating an environment where it’s cool to do that, just imagine how much good can come from it. We are also the creators of the YouTube Original series, Hyperlinked, which is inspired by the story of Miss O and Friends and follows 5 girls in middle school as they build a website to help other girls, while navigating middle school. The series has a heavy focus on STEM, coding, entrepreneurship and positive female friendships. To help build self-esteem, we create programs that allow girls to express themselves in a variety of different outlets. All of our web content is created by our girl community. We are truly by girls, for girls. Whether it's getting their own original stories published and sold, entering into a fashion design contest, or contributing content as a Miss O intern, we get girls involved as much as possible. The site also includes games, quizzes, blogging, advice, celebrity scoop, music and contests.
