Seniors will not press an emergency button or be able to call for help if they are unconscious; therefore, Symbiont Health’s wearable is able to detect falls. With the Symbiont device, the company is able to accelerate rescue and save lives. Symbiont Health had intellectual property acquisitions on patents for an internet-connected pill pox. The design was made for elderly patients suffering from Alzheimer's and dementia. The product was bought by a large elderly care community with hundreds of locations across the United States.
