The Tiverton Land Trust is a local nonprofit dedicated to preserving the character of Tiverton by permanently protecting land. Formed in 1996, the Land Trust works cooperatively with landowners and our community to preserve agricultural land, water resources, wildlife and wildlife corridors, scenic open space, forests, farms, meadows, and native biodiversity throughout Tiverton. We permanently protect land through the use of conservation easements that limit future development or through direct land acquisition.
