At Project Glimmer, it is our mission to inspire every girl to envision and realize an empowered future. We are a national nonprofit organization serving over 800,000 teenage girls and women, 86% of whom are young women of color. Project Glimmer works in all 50 states through partnerships with 1,000+ organizations including foster care, homeless, crisis care, and youth services. We are transforming what was once an historically-fragmented community into a highly operational eco-system of corporations, philanthropists, and volunteers donating their products, resources, time, and talent. Through our programs including Gifts + Goods which instills personal confidence, Day of Empowerment + Empower Hour which provide positive role models and Career Coaching which provides ongoing support; we are dedicated to helping end gender and racial inequality.
