Hello.  Andar Handbags are locally handmade, durable, high quality handbags.  My collections vary from Handbags, shoulder bags, backpacks, crossbody, most of which are convertible from handbag to crossbody.   My name is Sylvie.  When I graduated at the age of 47 from Fashion Design school i found myself NOT wanting to make clothes.  It was not my passion.  However, Bag making was.  I started with a simple pattern a domestic machine and 2 D-rings, and I was hooked (no pun intended).  Hardware is key!!  :) I've now had the pleasure of seeing my creations walk "around town" let's say.  And they have, actually gone Country wide.  It's is an amazing journey. We use only quality cottons, or cotton linen canvas as well as vinyls for the exterior of the bags.  All bags are made with 100% waterproof fabric.  My collection of various bags, can however be custom made based on fabric design and color.   We are very proud of our products.  Fashion and accessorizing is a private and personal thing.  It's all about individuality.  I will continue to love to inspire, and to inspire others.
