AMPED is a free youth music program that provides a safe environment for youth to explore their creativity through music. AMPED provides free access to education, instruments, music therapy, technology and performance opportunities for Louisville's young minds to thrive through the power of music. Local musicians also hang out in the studio as volunteer mentors. AMPED kids receive hands-on training in the music business through production, distribution and marketing. They are actively involved in scheduling and recording live performances of residing and visiting artists in our studio. These recording sessions, similar to NPR tiny desk concert series, help fund the program and provide opportunities for our next generation to find their own inspiration through music. #music #photography #videography #education #rap #entrepreneurship
