Healthy Working Wales / Cymru lach ar waith
www.healthyworkingwales.wales.nhs.ukThe Healthy Working Wales (HWW)/ Cymru lach ar waith programme is delivered by Public Health Wales on behalf of Welsh Government and works with employers to develop and sustain environments, policies and cultures that promote good health and support the appropriate and timely return to work of those who are absent from work due to sickness or who have fallen out of employment due to periods of ill health. The current HWW programme achieves this by: - Providing employers with advice, tools and resources, together with training and workshops - Providing one to one support to employers to meet the criteria for and then achieve the Corporate Health Standard or the Small Workplace Health Award at different levels - Working with partners, such as sector specific groups and local authorities, to deliver information and support through events and networks - Promoting specific training modules that HWW has developed to encourage the positive use of the Fit Note by employers and general practitioners - During the COVID-19 pandemic, hosting a one-stop-shop of information and resources for employers, and developing guidance and case studies of good practice.
