Some of our brands are Biofreeze, After Bite, Perskindol, Compeed, FLUIMUCIL, Grahams and OHROPAX. OTC Medical is specialized in the Dutch market, in which we supply all pharmacies, drugstores, supermarkets and health shops. Our brands have important aspects in common: they all are of the highest quality and have a very high problem solving capacity. The purpose of our brands is to help people with their problems or needs. Several brands stand out in their segments. With FLUIMUCIL we are no 2 in cough & cold, OHROPAX has a market share over 50% in earplugs, Thursday Plantation is the best sold tea tree oil, Compeed is market leader in blister plasters and Biofreeze is market leader in the cold treatment of pain. We choose our brands on the basis of quality and problem solving capacity. In addition, we will not forget to support our brands sufficiently. By means of various media we make sure our brands obtain and keep a high brand awareness amongst the targeted consumers. We see marketing as a flexible tool. What works for one brand may not be the right strategy for the other. Therefore, we have a special marketing strategy per brand. For example, Remescar is supported by several TV campaigns per year. Grahams has a completely different approach: we support it primarily per shop in the local newspaper. Other approaches are (combinations of) PR support, online advertising, social influencers and sampling. This way we make sure every brand gets the attention it needs and deserves.
