A class entity representing the interests of the classes of engineers With 86 years of activities, the Mining Society of Engineers (SME) is the most traditional class entity in the State. Formed by the voluntary adhesion of engineers, architects and agronomists, it has acted in defense of professionals, engineering and a sustainable development project for Minas Gerais and for the country. SME has more than 30,000 registered professionals, including approximately 5,000 associates. MISSION To integrate, develop and value Engineering, Architecture, Agronomy and its professionals, contributing to the technological, scientific, socio-cultural and economic improvement of society, especially Minas Gerais. VIEW To become an organ of reference in the promotion of Engineering, Architecture, Agronomy and in procedures of integration of the companies and professionals of these sectors.
