Our mission is to strengthen the position of the Flemish cycling classics on the international cycling agenda. On the other hand, we want to improve the image of cycling in and outside of Belgium. THE CLASSICS: When you think about the start of the cycling season, you immediately think about the Flemish spring classics. We are the organizer of the following prestigious spring races: Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, Gent-Wevelgem, Dwars Door Vlaanderen, Ronde van Vlaanderen, Scheldeprijs and De Brabantse Pijl. In the 2nd half of the cycling season we organize the Brussels Cycling Classic, Druivenkoers Overijse and Ronde van Limburg. UCI CYCLO-CROSS WORLD CUP: Besides road racing, cyclo-cross has a rich history in Flanders as well. During winter, we are also responsible for the organisation of the World Cup cyclo-cross, the most important competition in cyclocross. In the 2021-2022 season fifteen rounds decided who was the most continuous rider in this unique international contest. TELENET SUPERPRESTIGE: Since 2018, Flanders Classics organizes the oldest competition in cyclocross, the Telenet Superprestige. This competition holds eight races in Belgium and the Netherlands: Gieten, Ruddervoorde, Niel, Merksplas, Boom, Gavere, Heusden-Zolder and Middelkerke. FLANDERS GRAVEL Since 2021 Flanders Classics joins forces with Ltd Gravel Rides to organize a multi-day gravel event in the cycling capital of the Flemish Ardennes: Oudenaarde. It’s an event for the gravel lover by excellence, where the bike but undoubtedly also the typical gravel ambiance is the main focus. PELOTON: As an organizer we are involved in around 40 yearly cyclosportives with 100k+ participants.
