The NBCIB is the managed intelligence service which forms part of the National Business Crime Solution . It's aim is to collect, collate, analyse and disseminate information relating to burglaries, robberies, frauds and forgeries impacting on its UK business members. With integral police support and a national information sharing protocol with the 10 UK police Regional Intelligence Units (RIUs), we are able to identify and analyse information relating to Level 2, cross-border criminal activity. Information is fed to the Police via National Intelligence Model (NIM) compliant products, with sanitised reports, bulletins and alerts being distributed to members. This is not an information sharing scheme, but concerned with analysing information in order to create intelligence that can be used for both prevention and law enforcement purposes.
