Mollia's technology enables regular people to teach fundamental skills to virtual humanoids in a simulated environment through an intuitive interface. The result is genuine cooperation between machines (AI) and humans. Close to eight billion people on this planet have an excellent intuitive understanding of human motion. We want to utilize this knowledge to train humanoid robots. We are creating an opportunity for many people to get involved in the process of improving robotic movement and control. A key novelty in our approach is that the kinematic control of the robot emerges from real-time cooperation between a user and the robot's autonomous decision-making. This cooperation is genuine in the sense that both parties have to respect the other's decision. This is in sharp contrast to existing technologies, where decisions are made entirely by a pre-trained AI, or the user interacts with a system via direct commands. As a result of our technology, complicated tasks can be solved in real-time that require both the flexibility of a human and the software's ability to solve complex tasks autonomously. Furthermore, the interface to interact with the robot is entirely intuitive. It requires no scientific or engineering knowledge, but rather, it is tailored to take advantage of the excellent senso-motoric skills inherent to humans.
