Early education is the key to building the foundation for learning. 75% of the brain develops in the first 3 years of life and 95% develops by age 5. This is a critical time period to provide essential early learning. Information builds from information learned, preparing children for success in Kindergarten and beyond! JRC Learning Center is located at 2213 14th Street NE, Canton, Ohio. On the other end of the spectrum, people are living longer and too many enter institutionalized care too early! JRC Adult Day Center, located at 3300 Parkway Street NW, Canton Ohio, exists to provide purposeful and engaging dayside activities for those who need assistance enabling their caretaker to work or receive respite. We help individuals stay in their own home for as long as possible. JRC is expanding services by adding a second JRC Learning Center at 3300 Parkway Street NW, Canton (projected to open fall 2021) - this center will be co-located with JRC Adult Day Center (the whole building is called the Myrna A. Pastore JRC Campus) providing the perfect opportunity to enhance and grow JRC's Intergenerational Connections program where we bring children and senior together for intentional and fun activities!
