The "Arbeitskreis Börse – Studenten der Universität Mannheim e.V. (AKB)" is the largest student association at the University of Mannheim and sees itself as an important interface between students and companies with a focus on capital markets and consulting. Since its founding in 1984, the AKB has been the oldest and largest student finance association in Germany. It offers unique opportunities to get involved and thus to promote one's own personal development. Throughout the year, topics from markets & securities, investment banking, private equity and the consultancy industry are covered in numerous workshops, presentations and working groups, therefore offering unique insights. Moreover, with more than 1000 members, the AKB forms a strong network between students with an interest in capital markets and financial topics and companies.
