Halifax West
www.halifaxwest.comHalifax West™ is not a legal entity but rather a group of separate and independent legal entities. Each of the Principals participates in one or more of the companies in the portfolio. The firm has three complimentary focuses: 1 - advising companies and participating on Boards of Directors, 2 - making direct investments into high-growth companies, and 3 - making equity co-investments alongside high-net worth individuals, family offices and private equity investment partners. Halifax West advises companies on debt & equity transactions, buy side M&A and operational improvement. These engagements typically start as advisory engagements and then move to Board Director appointments. As an Advisor or Board Director, Halifax West does not trade hours for dollars but instead participates through profit share, royalties, contingency fees and equity upside. As an investor, Halifax West launches companies that capitalize on highly opportunistic situations that have an outsized cash yield. In these instances, the Principals at Halifax West fully fund these companies and grow them to scale. Halifax West employs a thematic, sector-based approach to co-investing with a focus on lower middle market companies that can benefit from our operational expertise, deep sector knowledge and strong partnership mentality. The firm is considered an Independent Sponsor since we look to partner with institutional capital on a deal-by-deal basis. Halifax West has a valid California Finance Lender and Broker license pursuant to Financial Code section 22151(a).
