Muskegon County Airport (MKG) is a modern, all weather facility serving the commercial, business, and general aviation transportation needs of West Michigan Shoreline region. Commercial airline service is provided by United Airlines (operated by SkyWest Airlines) with daily service to Chicago O’Hare providing one-stop access to almost any destination in the world and frequent casino charters operating to Laughlin, NV and Atlantic City, NJ. MKG plays an important role in the transportation of people and goods on behalf of the region contributing over $56 million in annual economic impact. Muskegon County Airport is also home to the U.S. Coast Guard Search and Rescue facility, staffed during the summer months to provide water rescue and national security services.
