Prospective securities industry professionals are now able to take the SIE Exam – as a corequisite for the series exams, including the Series 7 (General Securities Representative) and Series 79 (Investment Banking Representative). The new exam will comprise core securities knowledge previously shared among the series exams, including types of products and their risks; the structure of the securities industry markets, regulatory agencies, and their functions; and prohibited practices. And it is available to anyone 18 years or older!
