The Sustainable Methods Institute (SMI), a non-partisan, 501c(3) non-profit organization, aims to be a catalyst for Green-related and Sustainable technologies research, education and policy development. SMI seeks to be an example to other organizations on how to go green through whitepapers and research publications, including How-To Videos. We realize that now is the time to take action and that every measure of resource conservation and non-fossil fuel based energy production must be tapped into immediately. SMI promotes grant funded research to provide practical knowledge available to the entire world community, regardless of class or economic status, in order to better mankind and the planet. SMI believes in the holistic sustainability model and, under its leadership, will provide such a model for its research, education and policy developments. SMI is currently pursuing its' transition to a full online University with Colleges of Business, Social Sciences and Science & Technology. We hope to being offering Professional Certificates and Masters Degrees in 2012. SMIs' educational programs will also be delivered on-site via a national affiliates around the world.
