The Luso-American Development Foundation (FLAD) is a private, financially independent Portuguese institution that seeks to advance development in Portugal by providing strategic support for innovative projects that foster cooperation between civil society in Portugal and the United States. Through its 501 (c) 4 in the United States, FLAD also aims to strengthen ties with the Luso-American community to benefit bilateral relations between Portugal and the United States.
