Dementia Carers Count (DCC) is the only charity that offers essential, expert support to the 700,000 family members and friends in the UK who are looking after someone with dementia. We provide free, life-changing support that families living with dementia so often find isn’t there for them. Our services - both face-to-face and online – give family carers the opportunity to learn about dementia, to connect with others in a similar situation and to find ways to improve and maintain their own wellbeing while navigating the highs and lows of caring for someone with dementia. Everything we do is developed together with family carers and is delivered by health and care professionals. Anyone can visit our Virtual Carers Centre (VCC) on our website. The VCC is an innovative and accessible online platform, which contains a wide range of videos, audio recordings and articles developed to support carers, which they can dip in and out of at any time. This is also where carers can book on our Live Online Learning sessions.
