Walder REI LLC is a husband and wife team of Bob & Joyce Walder, based in Austin, TX. We are accredited real estate investors specializing in multifamily assets. Via syndication, we own multiple B and C-class properties in Texas, Colorado, and New Jersey. Since 2017 we have invested in 10 multifamily deals (2 of which have gone full cycle), totaling over 2000 doors across 7 cities and 3 states, with a combined purchase price of $150m. Members of the Sumrok Foundations program since 2017, we stepped up to be Personal Mentor students at the end of 2018 and closed our first deal in less than 6 months: an 88 unit property in San Antonio, purchased at an amazing 8.9% cap rate ($55k per door). Our goal is to set this property on the right path to make significant returns for our 31 investors, and find additional properties where we can add value and that will give our investors the benefits of passive income-producing property ownership, favorable tax treatment, leveraged returns, and future appreciation. Our team does extensive market analysis, rent surveys, physical due diligence, financial underwriting, and renovation studies before we even make an offer on a property. Our aim is total transparency, and our investors will have access to all underwriting data on each project so that they can make an informed decision to suit their investment objectives.
