EcoEvents provides consultancy, training and support to the events industry on issues or requirements relating to the environment and sustainability. Including (but not limited to!) environmental risk management, legal compliance management, development and maintenance of a sustainability management system, carbon auditing, training and, most notably, certification against national and international standards (e.g. BS8901 and ISO14001). We were established in 2007 as a direct response to the events, travel, tourism, and hospitality sectors and their suppliers requiring consultancy and support in the implementation of sustainability principles and practices. Our success is owed to the versatile programmes of support we offer. Our consultancy services are now being effectively used by the public sector (Local Authorities) and service and product suppliers of large and small scale events. Our industry expertise includes globally renowned sustainability consultants and professional event managers with over 45 years combined experience in travel & tourism, hospitality and events together with specialists in communications and psychology.
