We are committed to providing the communities of East Africa clean, safe drinking water. The mission of Wells of Life is simple – to build 1,000 wells in 10 years for the people of East Africa. Our goal is to solve the water dilemma one well at a time, in a collaborative effort between compassionate individuals, like you and I, who will provide the opportunity to build wells and make a commitment to help the people of East Africa receive clean, sanitary water. Our goals include: -Provide 1,000 wells in the next decade (283 & counting). -Decrease infant mortality by 50% by providing a clean -source of water. -Create a cost structure whereby funding for a well is placed within reach of individuals, families and groups. -Empower East African communities to grow and develop productively. -Facilitate education as women and children are no longer have to walk long distances to collect water. -Drill one to two wells per week. Each of those wells transforming the lives of 1,000 to 2,000 people. -Mobilize the public to act by joining Wells of Life in providing others with life’s most vital and basic necessity----water.
