The ICR is a multifaceted approach that looks act individual's , community reputation, accountability plan, and personality assessments to determine employment eligibility. Since 9/11, many companies both white- and blue-collar businesses have resorted to requisitely conducting background checks on all American-born potential employees to weed out those qualified employees with negative criminal or credit history from those candidates without criminal or credit issues but may be less qualified for the job.. Another setback for getting a second chance in some major corporations especially in the high-tech industry is the fact that companies have been hiring employees from overseas to work in the United States without holding them to the same standard as a US citizen. That is, some companies giving employees from overseas a blank tablet with respect to their criminal and credit history in the United States. But, what about the history of these employees coming from overseas into the United States? Simply put, the criminal and credit background of these individuals is unchecked. Consequently, these people get the jobs that well-qualified American citizens who have a negative criminal or credit history. Those deserving of a second chance are bypassed by the hiring company of today. There is no verification of identity, education and criminal or credit background from employees from overseas but don't attempt this if you are coming over the Mexican border however into the US.
