Fitness Monkey was founded in 2012 by Chris Schuhmacher and was inspired by his own story of overcoming addiction while in prison. Our vision is to create an online life-coaching platform that empowers addiction recovery through physical fitness. This will be accomplished through customized play books, drug and alcohol education, and the encouragement and support of the entire Fitness Monkey community.
